A counterpoint number from Act 2, where the family is caught in limbo. The father realises his responsibility as a farther which the mother struggles with a strain the her relationship with her daughter. The daughter is caught ‘In Between’ drawn to the attraction of being more like her father and yet stuck with the conditions that come with this.
